About Dallas Lutheran
Dallas Lutheran opened in 1976 and moved into its Stults Road campus in 1982. The school added sixth grade in 2025.
The school provides a Christ-centered secondary education within the Lutheran tradition and now serves middle- and high-school students.
How the school fits into a Dallas home search
Lake Highlands, northeast Dallas and Richardson-border neighborhoods can provide practical campus access.
Families should compare school and work commute patterns because northeast Dallas traffic flows differ from the Park Cities and Tollway corridors.
Relocating around an independent school
Private-school enrollment does not work like a public attendance boundary. A family can compare several neighborhoods and choose the home that best balances school access, work commute, housing style, other children's schools and daily life. The best answer is often a corridor rather than one ZIP code.
Stonebriar does not represent the school and does not set or interpret its admission rules. Confirm current admission, calendar, transportation and campus information directly with the school before making a housing decision.
