About Bishop Dunne
Bishop Dunne was founded in 1961 as Our Lady of Good Counsel and later took the name of Bishop Edward Dunne.
The school provides a Catholic college-preparatory program with academics, faith formation, arts, athletics and service.
How the school fits into a Dallas home search
Oak Cliff, Kessler Park, Bishop Arts-area neighborhoods and other southern Dallas communities can offer practical campus access.
Families working downtown may find the south-Dallas campus geography very different from the longer north-Dallas private-school commute.
Relocating around an independent school
Private-school enrollment does not work like a public attendance boundary. A family can compare several neighborhoods and choose the home that best balances school access, work commute, housing style, other children's schools and daily life. The best answer is often a corridor rather than one ZIP code.
Stonebriar does not represent the school and does not set or interpret its admission rules. Confirm current admission, calendar, transportation and campus information directly with the school before making a housing decision.
